This year our home was filled with family and friends for our Thanksgiving here in Mexico. This makes me so happy since I have NO family to speak of near me. Phillicia my sister and Dina Jeff's mom were able to make it for Thanksgiving along with our friends Sara, her daughter Renata and our friend Marcel.
Let me start by saying that its sort-of like a scavenger hunt when it comes to preparing our traditional Turkey Day meal. I actually start buying the ingredients about a month in advance so that I'm sure to have all the yummy food. About a week before the big day all of the snow birds head south to Mexico and clean house for all the fixings!
Everything turned out beautiful and tasty too! After our dinner we all took a walk on the Melacon (hopefully walked off a few pounds in the process! hehehe) it was a great holiday.
