Wow! The holidays past right by..I was so wrapped up in it all I didn't post one entry. For my loyal readers I am back on track!
Christmas has always been my most favorite time of year and this year Christmas was one of our best for sure.
Our little ones woke up on cue- bright an early, I love watching them open their stockings the best. Phillicia made the family a yummy breakfast of potatoes, eggs, and jelly toast. It was soooo good.
I made Christmas dinner (turkey of course) and all of the yummy sides that go along with it. I had two request this year for the menu:
1. NO green bean casserole & 2. my homemade mac-n-cheese for a side.
Everything turned out fabulous!
We just stayed in and enjoyed each other and our new toys! This marks our 2nd year in Mexico for the holidays and expericancing it here in Puerto Vallarta has been wonderful, not only do we follow our own traditions we also are witness to the traditions of another country. On Christmas Eve we went to some friends for their traditional Christmas Eve Tamale party. It was super and of course we filled ourselves with lots and lots of tamales
.....As they say " Feliz Navidad" and a Happy and prosperous New Year!
