We have been busy bodies and playing host to Jeffs mom. We want to show her the things we have come to love here in Merida and in the Yucatan. This weekend we took Gram to the large marcado, where we go almost daily to get our produce. We picked up some food for dinner and just looked around.

Sunday was plaza day. Here in Merida every Sunday the main plaza comes to life with food vendors and artisan crafts music and daning. The plaza is pretty big with lots of benches and places to sit, relax and people watch! Gram found some treasures to bring home and enjoyed looking at all of it!

We came home after the plaza and made batches of sugar cookies for Leahs class party at school today. Leah did a fabulous job decorating. We always are making treats during this week leading to Christmas. And this year will be no exception!
