I was at a cyber cafe recently and was having a go at my Spanish with the cyber cafe owner. What a sight that must have been....I wanted to find out if he had access to any used computers, and low and behold he had an calouge that happen to be closing his cyber cafe in another part of Merida and as selling his computers. It worked at great, budget is tight these days but I couldnt pass up the 156.00 offer. We have been pricing new computers around Merida and have found laptops ranging from 500 for a mini to 2000 US dollars. No thanks, but heres what we got with the used computer
HP PC Tower 80 gb space
Memory 1gb
disc burner
brand new windows xp operating system (although its all in Spanish)
mouse
keyboard (Spanish keys which the kids love for all their facebooking and instant messaging
Samsung monitor..no its not a flat screen but thats alright too!
We have been using the computer for few days now and what a difference it has made. Everything works great its super duper fast and I just love it.
