Our tree is up!
We dont have any of our family Christmas ornaments this year because they were left behind with a friend in Puerto Vallarta, so this year almost all of my ornaments are handmade. I also choose the smallest tree I could find because we dont have many things to put on the tree. It turned out great! Its our little red and white cutie tree. I love it.

I also got a great idea from Martha S. for an
advent calendar using miniature match stick boxes. I made one for each of the kids and painted a Christmas image on one side, as they count down the days to Christmas there will be a little treat inside the match box and then they can turn that days box around to begin revealing a picture I painted on the other side. Ive always wanted to make one of these for the kids and now they seem really excited about them.
