A Quick Change of Plans

This past weekend Leah had a gymnastics competition in Guadalajara, MX. and I was able to surprise my friend Jackie because it was not planned that I was suppose to be there. It was great to have extra supporters for Leah at the meet. She had her own personal cheering crowd.

Leah did great and received a gold medal in bars, balance beam and spring board. She also received a silver medal for her floor routine. We are all so so proud of our little gymnast.

Perfect Weekend!

We had a big weekend! Leah had her very first gymnastics competition on Saturday. Her friends Isabella and Amber came to cheer her on too.....She did very well and placed 1st in all of her events! We are very proud of her. She also got another gold for receiving the most points all around!! WOW!

Sunday we were invited to the Botanical Gardens with the Vaca & Cruz family...so fun. The kids and I have been before but this was Jeffs first visit. We had lunch at the gardens, the kids made bug catchers the night before and caught dragon-flys, grasshopper's and even a jumping spider. (we released them of course) It was so cool to see all the tropical summer season flowers!
